Hi! Thanks for stopping by! We are a classic rock band playing out in the northern NJ and New York City area.

Take a look around. We uploaded some tunes for you, so definitely check out the videos and music pages.

Of course, you can leave us a message on the message board.

Thank you South Shore Swimming Club! That was the BEST show we have EVER played!
The place was rocking!
We played 3 sets and an encore: 35 songs.

Here's some PIX from the 3/17 show:

"The hardest working band around..."
The band played for about three and a half hours!

Just about everybody got up and danced!

Burt and Roger were rocking!

Tony and Joe rockin' the house!

Big Jim getting "into it"!

We played some slow songs so people could get all lovey-dovey

Why this name?
One of the band members was warned by a friend to "wait and see" what would happen, if he continued performing with the band. When he related the story to the rest of the band, Joe Filocamo suggested it as a band name and everyone agreed to it.
Do you play live?
Yes. That's the reason the band exists.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has challenged the idea that record labels must "discover" new talent and nurture it along. It has also enabled bands to independently market themselves and carve out a niche audience. A few artists have even succeeded in building up an Internet following, and then translated that into commercial success. But it has also nearly destroyed the "artist and repertoire" system in the music industry that gave us so many great acts over the years.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the deal. We don't want to appear snobbish, but probably not. The band members all have families, and solid careers. The thought of "going on tour" does not appeal to us at all.
Band History:
WAIT AND SEE is an offshoot of a prior rock and blues band that formed in December of 2004. See www.soundclick.com/thebluesmenband
Four of the members of that band amicably left to form their own group, leaving Roger Wilson, Joe Filocamo and Jim Cirrincione to continue on together. Drummer Burt Feinberg joined in October of 2005. Guitarist and bassist Russell Pfeiffer followed in December, and WAIT AND SEE was born. Russell left the band in September of 2006. Tony Da Silva joined as the bassist in October of 2006. Joe left in April, 2007, and Roger left in September. The band reunited, with Joe, in August of 2008.
Your influences?
We're mainly influenced by the artists whose songs we cover: Beatles, Credence, Springsteen, the Everly Brothers and Elvis.
Favorite spot?
We like any place that will have us, especially places that ask us back. One of our favorite venues is the South Shore Swimming Club on Staten Island. They treat us very well and they get a great crowd.
Equipment used:
Joe uses a Jay Turser left handed JT-133 electric guitar through a Fender Blues Junior tube amp, and a 5 string SX bass. Jim plays either a 2006 Gibson ES-335 or a 2003 Fender Stratocaster, through a Vox ToneLab and a Fender Blues Junior amp. Tony plays a Fender Jazz Bass through an Acoustic Image Focus 1 Bass Amp with an Eden speaker cabinet with one 12" speaker, and an additional Avatar cab with two 10" speakers. Burt plays a Mapex drum kit. Vocals are through unidirectional Samson Q7 dynamic mics, except for Burt, who sings through a Shure 58.
Anything else...?
The band has a strong work ethic and works hard to please its audience and put on a good show.
