Taras Kripps grew up in several different countries, beginning with his birth in Hawaii. A travelling family because of his parents work, he has lived in such places as Cambodia, Canada, Hawaii, and Australia. He has also spent time in Los Angeles.
This diverse upbringing contributed to elements of his songwriting and music, which can be described as acoustic rock, with a folky twist, influenced by the blues and southern swamp music.

Being that Taras Kripps isnt a very common name, it seemed fitting to use his name as his title.
Do you play live?
Taras is an experienced live performer, having played venues from bars to concert halls.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It brings a whole new element to music in general, from friends just sharing their work with ease to creating serious competition between major labels and self produced musicians.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course.
Band History:

A wide variety of musicians have influenced Taras through out his life, far too many to mention. They range from the likes of Mark Knopfler to JJ Cale, Clapton, some contemporary rock and country rock artists. The list could go on for ever.

Equipment used:
Primarily Taras uses a Martin 00CXAE grand concert acoustic as his main instrument. Others include a Guild small body custom, Fender Stratocaster, and a Casio midi studio guitar. He also is talented at drum arrangements, bass, and other secondary instruments for his home recordings.
Anything else...?
When all is said and done, the music speaks. Thats the way Taras approaches life. Having been through several life threatening occasions, a truck that went off a cliff, nearly drowning in Hawaii, he has a great value for life, and is determined to get the most out of it, and tell its tales. And thats his music.
