Why this name?
Well, after evolving many different styles, I felt there wasn't a more suitable name for me.

I perform at many spots doing open mics, and showcase talents throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan areas.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has made it easier for artists to be heard worldwide, and also to make connections across the net for collaborations or whatever.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell Yeah, If the contract is right.
Band History:
Shif-T was given the #1 spot off the local charts for hottest album for diversity for 05.
Shif-T's also the newest member to da SkinnyFatz Entertainment Label, so Be On The Lookout for new projects in the very near future................

Your influences?
My greatest influence in this hip hop game from the beginning was MC Lyte. As I grew older, and perfected my style, I've growned and got great aspirations from artists like Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie, and Scarface.
Favorite spot?
Washington, DC Babyyyyyyyyy
Equipment used:
I don't own any equipment myself, but I do work out of Listen Vision Studios to do my vocal recordings, and mastering.
