Welcome to the debute release of Mark Musallam's Compact Disc

VAGABONDAGE

An accoustic alternative music style from the mind of a mad man. Six years in the making, you will not be dissapointed by this concept album cronicaling the travels of "Lefty", from his arrival in town the his death some years later from the S&M, B&D subculture there.
Why this name?
As a solo performer I decided to record, fund, and produce my own album, a concept album at that. I was reading a book of sociology, an excerpt from Karl Marx, in particular, and I came across the word VagaBondage. It describes the story perfectly. Do this, cover the "age" then cover the "vaga." See what I mean? I have recently begun collaborating with a drummer and bassist and we have no band name.
Do you play live?
Yes- as much as I possibly can! I love it!
Currently I am performing in the greater Sacramento, California, at the Fox & Goose Public House and The Capitol Garage Coffee Co. Soon to be hitting all the hot spots of Sacramento.
If you make it big..?
I'm realistic. I'm not planning on it... but by chance I do, I'll just try and be myself as much as possible. I'm generally a pretty happy guy, though you can't really tell that through my music. I'd like to be able to perform as much as I can. I get better everytime I play.
Band History:
Well for right now it's just me but I will update this band history as soon as there is one. Myself, I have been playing since I was very young and even had a band here and there in highschool and such. I am currenly looking for players, If you're interested contact me.
Your influences?
There is very little Electric Anything in this music, but it's not Folk, and a couple of these songs really rock. Some of the bands I like are KISS, Alice in Chains, Skid Row, Seven Mary Three, and I like a lot of stuff that's on the radio these days. I usually just keep the radio on the rock and alternative stations. As far as what to expect from my CD... toughy. I've heard that I sound like Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, Bob Dylan, KISS, many many others. In my opinion.. those aren't accurate. I have a hard time classifying a particular "sound." It's just - MARK!
Favorite spot?
Behind the mic, singing for an audience or with that someone. Or both at the same time!
Equipment used:
Ibanez acoustic guitar, Jackson electric guitar, Pearl drums, and Ibanez bass guitar.
Anything else...?

I encourage you to check out the CD - You will NOT be disappointed. I haven't had one complaint yet... and I know some brutally honest people.
