I think it's a positive for both the artists and the industry for the most part. It's given unsigned and independent artists the exposure they never had before. It's also given people worldwide the chance to sample and experience a whole spectrum of musical content that they otherwise wouldn't have had access to which is broadening people's horizons and inspiring new generations of artists. So yeah, I think it's all good.

That all depends. I mean, if they're waiving a big fat check in front of my face, I'm gonna have a hard time saying no, but I wouldn't want to give up my integrity and creative freedom and be forced to create something I dont like. I understand that sometimes you have to make compromises and try to appeal to a wider audience, but it still needs to be enjoyable to the artist.

I've been a hip hop head since way back in the day but I also love House and other types of electronic music and work in these genres as well.

It's too hard to pick favorites since I'm influenced by so many. I'm influenced by all music.

Favorite spot - the studio. Favorite city - NYC without a doubt. There's no place like home!

I use a PC setup with Sonar, FL Studio, Wavelab and some software synths and effects. I also have a some hardware synths and assorted gear and a DJ setup. It's not really about how much gear you have though, it's what you do with it.
