Why this name?
For all those who knew me at a young age, I used to be called "Vebal Villian", but as I got older it started sounding too complex, plus MY BOYZ IN MY HOOD started calling me flo because my flo was hot. The Niddy came in to play just as a last name. I can get gritty and Flo Gritty sounded lame so I threw Nitty in there cause i'm that niggy ya know. After 2000 I took the t's out of nittyand replaced them with d's, and there it was FLO NIDDY. I'm too sure, holla at me
Do you play live?
Well I have not done a show in over a year but every day is a show for me.My last show was at FRANKS BAR on Allen st in Buffalo. It was hott, I ripped it and so did Roach E dem. There is nothing like the felling of getting an audiance wild, ohhh yea we do it big. We canned our manager and there went the gig.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hell yea, I mean its like my own personal sound scan, I am not even signed and I am doing numbers. I also collaborate with a few other artists all over the country. Sound click alone can alter your life, all it takes is for the right person to listen, and when I say listen I mean actualy listening in to the whole aspect of a track.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That is what I am tring to accomplish, but it is a hard thing to do. I wake up turn on the music channel and wounder sometimes how in the hell half these people got signed. Not enough people are searching for real talent.
Your influences?
My first influences were Big Daddy Kane and Rob Bass. My influences when i was mor knowledgable were Nas,Biggie,Tupac,Mobb Deep and can't forget onyx and Jay-z.
Favorite spot?
With out a doubt Queens Blvd NewYork City
