"Guitars are people, too."
Why this name?
My parents mixed their names, Jing-Jing and Zen, to create Jen-Jen. So, I had that nick name for as long as I could remember. On the first year of high school, my new friends were into Japanese culture, very much. So, when we got to know each other one of the girls claimed that I had to "have a Japanese name". So, I did some name searches and found "Jurobei." I liked the sound, so I kept it. Overtime, I wanted the name to sound younger, slightly more childish and probobly more on the cute side. So, I liked the name "Jurielle." I found that a little too feminine sounding, so I shortened it into "Juri" and applied the "Jen-Jen" factor to turn it into "Juri-Juri."

I think it turned out quite well.
Do you play live?
I don't play live, yet, by myself, at least.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes music much more available to the listeners, out there. So, if you try to be heard, you'll definitely be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I get the chance, sure.
Band History:
"I started doing music when I was about... 7 years old, starting with rap. That's pretty weird, huh? After two years or so (with many songs once memorized) I moved on. What did I move on to? I moved onto dance/trance/techno music. During that time, I was very into video game music (especially works by Nobuo Uematsu, of the Final Fantasy Series). Also, I found a guitar in my mom's closet. It was an S-Series Ibanez electric, signed by someone famous. I really can't recall who it was, since I never really payed attention to it. Turns out that that guitar wasn't my moms. So, she had to give it back to who it belonged to: My uncle. Couple months later, she bought herself an Ovation Acoustic. I needed something to play, so I picked that thing up and practiced s'more guitar. At the Christmas of 2003, my father brought my to the local guitar shop. From there, we wandered the store for hours, trying and examining guitars as hard as possible. After those hours, I finally chose my guitar. Now, during these two and a half years, I have researching, composing, writing, and practicing obsessively." "Now, at the age of 15, I continue on." Currently the Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocalist of Aestus, the 4-man band from New Milford and Dumont.
