There are two things that I believe God will use to change this world that we live in. Sport and Music.
I'm a singer-songwriter living ex-patria in Beijing, China. I teach during the day, and then get home and pick up whichever instrument happens to be closest. Not sure the neighbours enjoy that so much. I write about anything that gets me passionate - love, relationships (like every one else, it seems), injustice and oppression, Faith. And more really. Keep checking back to find my latest soapbox!

Why this name?
it's my name and I like it. :-)
Do you play live?
Occaisonally at the Pentoc Cafe in Daxing, south of Beijing. On the lookout for alternatives (it's a long way to Daxing!).
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Principally, it gives more of the "power" back to musicians. In the past a record label would only produce what they thought would sell (which is great for business). Now, musicians are better able to distribute the music which is really on their hearts.
Your influences?
Jazz/Blues, Folk, 90's Pop-Rock,
Favorite spot?
Either the English Lake district or Yangshuo in southern China or the Himalayas. it depends!
Equipment used:
A Lorenzo acoustic guitar that I bought in the UK for 99 quid and still love, a Selmer Paris "C" trumpet, an Ibanez JEM7V electric when I feel the need to make a lot of noise.
Most recording is done in my spare room with a PC running cubase and a Rode NT2 mic. occaisonally I borrow something else to be different.

Anything else...?
Props to Doug McGee, without whom I would not be where I am now. Doug got me started recording and I haven't looked back.
