How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Think that question is a bit out of date these days!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends... let's negociate!
Band History:
An energetic, witty emcee renowned for an exceptional flow- and a formidable producer. Born in Hackney, London (where he lived for 11 years), this lyricist somehow ended up spending his teenagehood in the rural outskirts of Mullingar, Ireland, where the quiet environment became the perfect spot to piece together a studio and spend days upon days recording. Since then, he has become part of the Dublin super-crew "Class A'z" with Redzer (Coolock), Nu-Centz (Tallaght) and Terawrizt (Beaumount). His forthcoming and long awaited album with Nu-Centz entitled "Hot Property" is set to drop this year (Further details TBC), and he is also working on an EP which will most likely be up for free download, to reestablish this seasoned veteran's rep on the Irish circuit. He has been criticised in the past for making music that is too cheesy and commercial, but in his opinion, f*** that, there's nothing wrong with making yourself accessible to the wider market. If you wanna check out Rawsoul on some underground sh*** then be sure to cop the new Terawrizt album "Written in Stone" and check out the features- (the CD is nearly going to press at time of writing). He also features on the second offering from Cork's very own GMC, another album on the verge of being released at time of writing. But wait there's more. You can download Nuie's mixtape for free: http://www.sendspace.com/file/r3fmi4 and get the second installment, "The Hardest Workin' Man Volume II" for a recession busting 8 euro... and once again you can check out several tracks featuring the man they call Rawsoul. Hope you enjoy the music, and many thanks to all listeners and critics. Beaver!
