Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Austin, TX Lady Legacy has indeed started off in the rap game with nothing but realness. Life hasn't been a bed of roses for this ATX betty. From the dope game to the rap game like many who are leading the industry now, the game is still the same. Whoever has the A-1 makes the most money.

Why this name?
As far as buiness is concerned I am a lady defined as a well-mannered and considerate woman with high standards of proper behavior. A woman regarded as proper and virtuous. A woman who is the head of a household.
As far as music is concerned I'm leaving a legacy as defined as realness being handing down to all my predecessors.

Do you play live?

I love doing shows. I'm the only female in the line up in most cases and I outperform a lot of my male counterparts. They have no presence on stage. Nor do they have charisma.
Watching the look on the club managers or bar managers faces while I'm performing are my special moments. Its all about business. If patrons are not leaving, they love you.
I haven't met a club or bar manager who didn't love me.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm getting downloaded in China and the UK. My fanbase is growing in Russia (St. Petersberg) as well. I think the internet is making my head swell up a little. (smile)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definitely because every contract is negotiable. The clauses concerning production, international distribution and reversions would be where I would focus my interests. I would request a clause for my non-profit org, Positivity for Purpose, to be taking care of indirectly.

My favorite spot is in my backyard. Eastside ATX-02, Baby!!!
