At the risk of sounding pretentious I'm not going to write anything here right now.
Why this name?
Its a long story, but over time I've slowly but surely become a recluse. It seemed like The Recluse was the only suitable name. Music has always been a huge part of my life if not the biggest.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think its a positive thing. Gives indie artists and the like the ability to reach a larger audience, and gain recognition that was only available to those with record deals. File sharing is the future.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not without a lawyer, and they would really have to allow me a lot of freedom creatively.
Band History:
Been creating music for more than 8 years now. There is still a lot of things I have yet to learn.
Your influences?
::sigh:: Ok here goes, EDGEY, Censor, Nathan Profitt, Paul Oakenfold, Tech Itch, Panacea, Juno Reactor, PNFA, Squarepusher, Video Game music, Infected Mushroom, VNV Nation, Aphex Twin, Hermit Bastard, Pitchshifter, Astral Projection, Oozish, Portishead, Celldweller, TOOL, Deftones,

...to name a few
Favorite spot?
Haven't found one yet. I probably need to get out more.
Equipment used:
FL studio 8.0 and a whole lot of VST instruments and effects.
