Welcome to the Acoustic Brew webpage. The band consists of 4 members playing acoustic guitars, mandolin, bass, banjo, dobro, and harmonica. We play a variety of music including originals, popular cover songs, and bluegrass tunes.
Why this name?
We like acoustic music and we like beer. They just seemed to go well together. We fondly refer to our music as Brewgrass.
Do you play live?
We try to play various places in western Mass about once a month.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only for one million dollars....
Band History:
Three of us have been playing together for about 6 years. We recently acquired a new bass player and we are having fun picking tunes and performing monthly.
Your influences?
Grateful Dead, Neil Young, The Band, Rolling Stones, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Tony Rice, John Hartford, & David Grisman to name a few.
Favorite spot?
Western Mass
