I am a guitarist of 20+ years, from the Seattle, WA area. I have always loved the old school mississippi delta blues music, and wish to continue this precious art form. I play and live in Nashville, TN, but am getting ready to seriously play around the nation. Thanks for taking the time to check out my music, and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoy playing it. IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR, PLEASE SEND ME AN E-MAIL AND LET ME KNOW...THANKS FOR KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE!
Why this name?
I drew it out of a hat.
Do you play live?
As much as I can, anywhere I can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hopefully, it will continue to level the playing field for independent artists like myself to have a career.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think so, but every opportunity deserves consideration.
Band History:
I was born in the back seat of a Greyhound bus, rollin' down highway 41...just kidding. I have been in a few bands over the years, but have always loved the solo blues thang.
Your influences?
All the old cats, like Son House, Charley Patton, Robert Johnson, Lead Belly, Muddy Waters, and new guys like Alvin Youngblood Harte, Cory Harris, and a fellow Soundclick artist, David Kampmann from Denmark, to name a few.
Favorite spot?
L.A or New York. Orleans can be fun, too.
Equipment used:
What ever I can afford! :) I use a National ResoRocket single cone, a Johnson Tri Cone, and a Taylor flat top for the solo stuff, as well as my own PA set up.
Anything else...?
I hope to see you in your town sometime...come up and say hello, and we'll grab a drink of Jack.
