Core Northwest (CNW) formed as a fun stress-free effort in the realm of hip hop by Pauleywood and K-Mak D. Over the years we have had fun with it, done some nifty production (at least we think so, though it prolly sucks), and butchered our words over mics for everyone to enjoy. This site is mainly for our ever growing collection of beats, mishaps, and quirkyness. For other sites check out www.zebox.com/pauleywood and www.soundclick.com/djgrub for the EPC.
Why this name?
Doesn't matter, We're stuck with it now. It mainly represents where we're from.
Do you play live?
Always looking. Wanna book us? Email me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps peeps like me with absolutely no morals to pillage and burn the cream of the crop of hip hop without paying a cent. Actually it helps the Average Joe make crappy music to annoy the masses. The only problem is the record companies are 1-up on everybody in terms of crappy music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, and maybe if they throw a couple extra G's my way I'll downgrade my rapping skillz to Puffy Calibre.
Band History:
Kyle started making beats. Then he started rapping. Then I started rapping, and making beats. We were in a nasty evil rock group together (me on vocals, and him on bass). We decided rock was crap, kicked the other punks out and went hip hop.

P.S. The whole story you just read is a dirty lie.
Your influences?
Moka Only, Ohmega Watts, Procussions, Lightheaded, Pete Rock, anybody that makes good beat and doesn't rhyme about stupid stuff.
Favorite spot?
I'm a recluse so I have no favourite spot. maybe Kmak can answer this. No? He hates nasty little places.
Equipment used:
Cool Edit and Fruity Loops. I know the program sounds a little.....er.......gay, and also similar to a popular cereal, but it's cool
Anything else...?
Nope! buzz off, listen to the music, tell your friends, get them to listen to it, get them to tell their friends, which would be you again. Listen to it again then.
