A-yo what's good. It's J - Murdah, man. I know the first thing you think when u hear that name. "He's a thug, he's a wanna be thug, he thinks he's gangsta, or whateva negative thoughts the name may make u think of." But I neither, I'm just me. That's all I know how to be. I live my life according to common sense and what's real to me. Hip Hop my love, that's where my hearts at. I know myself I'm not one of the best MC's but I can't let that stop me all I can do i keep it up. I can never fall off i can only get better. I do this cuz i love it and if you feel my sh*** much love and if u don't it's all good its more motivation for me to feed on to make it better. One.
Why this name?
I never actually chose my name. My old ni**a Chris actually named me that. One night me and my boy was cypherin' at da' park back in 99. Back then I was a battle MC. and I was killin' my boy. Chris said damn J u murdered 'em. J Murdered 'em. I said oh sh** J Murder that sh*** sounds ill. so since then i decided to be J Murdah.
Do you play live?
I haven't had the chance to perform live, but my time will come. I have however performed at a couple of house parties. That sh** was hot but I can't wait for the day I get to rock a stage.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet gives an artist or a group another way to promote themself or themselves not just locally but worldwide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That depends on the label and what they're about plus how much of my own sh** they would let me put out instead of trying to make me fall into the whack commercial crowd. It's hard to say.
Band History:
I f***ed around wit' hip hop never took it serious until i met Suspect One. If I never met him and got influenced from him sh*** I wouldn't be writing this...

All I can say is if u feel me good looks if u don't its all good. Maybe you haven't touched it right. Maybe I got more work to do, but whateva' it may be I just hope ya'll feel my sh** cuz i'ma keep makin' music no matter what and i hope all ya'll keep ya sh** up to.
