surly has been spittin rhyms since he was about 16, after years of street life and thugin he learned to use his talent for more than just freestyle battles at house partys, so in 2003 he sat down and started recording his first demo weston style, witch was loved by many localy (even with its low quality recording) in this album he introduced jay money on a few tracks (witch were uniqley recorded over the phone while money was still in jail)even thoe the recording was bad the tracks were good.
Then in march 2004 jay $ got out of jail and surly had learned a lot more about recording so production of the much more disc begun with the use of some sampled beats and mostly original beats surly v and jay $ started to use some old and new lyrics to fill the album and re-recorded the tracks from weston style to make a better record & more complete album almost pro sounding they have since done a few house party shows and a few club show's one at Rythm and brews which was a big sucsess and a cupple shows at the white rose and the vibe witch were a pretty good turn out too and keep watching the whats new page at www.nine-o-records.8k.com for upcomming show's.
Recently surly v and jay $ are working closely with dialog and kinetik from hip hop 101.5 and the beats are sick ,they also upgraded the dope attic studio ,so stay tuned for the up comming albums for release in fall 2005.and tune to hip hop 101 on 101.5 UMFM and umfm.com ,and the new sh*** is gonna blow yer fu##ing mind .
