"Hindi ko kailangan mag English para lang maging IN, with tagalog kaya ko kayong tapatan at LAOSIN!" - Gayuma a.k.a Lucky Lyn
Manila-born Luckylyn Castro Wong aka Gayuma grew up in the streets of Hong Kong. Through the years, she has been the cat curiosity still struggles to kill. Talented as she is, she has choreographed dances in various activities in and out of high school.
In 2001, Luckylyn discovered her passion for rapping. She is the founder of a famous underground internet group Extinto Femcees. She has been crowned Finest female freestylist and labelled as the Queen of Underground Filipino Hip Hip from her fans all over the world.
She was inspired by Chill (Audra): 'When I heard Chill's track 'Baliw' in 2000 it inspired me. I hadn't heard a female mc before that..she's real... her presence..her image..the way she does everything..she opened so many doors for us girls. MC's are real, they write their own stuff, they rap about what they know, the stuff around them. Gayuma's songs brim with pinoy pride as her influences came from the light of her all time idol Chill. Her tumultuous life and controversies have inspired her with a good heart to fire back. Soon she'll be releasing one song after another so watch out!
From the looks of things and from the way her career seems to be going, it seems like there really is no need for kicking any behinds in the near future. Gayumal has finally reached that stage in her career when she no longer needs to be identified with a celebrity boyfriend to be famous herself. She's happy on how things are and she would like to thank all her fans for being so supportive!
Queen Of the Underground!
