Welcome to my world!
I am a Rock, Blues, Country, and Acoustic guitarist. I play whatever I think is good!
Why this name?
I was born with it!
Do you play live?
I play 125 nights a year in Boise, Idaho and clubs and honkytonks.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opened up the ears of the world. Anyone can be heard if they put their music out there. I have had email from Europe and Asia commenting on my MP3s.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would take a lot of money to get me away from my family, but "If the price is right".
Band History:
I have been playing for about 30 years. I took 10 years off from starting in the mid 80s, and resumed my music, career in 1997.
I have opened for numerous country and rock headliners. If you have watched the Grammys,or the CMA awards, you've seen people I've played with onstage.
I am a guitarist. I play in a busy country rock band. The Saloonatics.
Your influences?
I love all the usuals, Vaughn, Johnson, Satriani, Vai, Morse, Howe, Paisley, Clapton, Urban, even Segovia and Michael Hedges. Check out Tommy Emmanuel and the amazing Andy Timmons. If they are good, I'll listen to them.
Favorite spot?
I love the West. I live in Boise, but I have lived in CA, MO, MA, TX, OH and KS.
