Band History:
The music of Lester March can strike a chord with everyone. Whether it's driving to see your favorite Summer Flick, or lying awake at 12am, the music of Lester March relates to things everyone goes through. Their raw blend of emotion and driving rock and roll has earned them fans all over the midwest, as well as catching the ear of LA based Crankspiv Records, who released their song Awkward Disaster in Fall of 2002 on a punk rock compilation.
Graduating from a stagnant, almost non-existent local scene comprised mostly of gigs at coffee shops and basement parties to opening for national acts like Strike Anywhere and GOB, one can see the long way this band has come, and through heart-felt lyrics and challenging musical compositions, one can also see how much the band has grown over the last year enduring a name change (formerly Kickback), and proving that even a 5 song demo recorded in their attic for next to nothing can attract attention.
With the nucleus of the band now solid, Mike Bever at drums, Denny Manders at bass and background vocals, Matt Schoeffler at guitar, Aaron Whitney at vocals and the newest edition, Ron on guitar. The band hopes to venture on, and continue to expose as many people as possible to their infectious brand of rock and roll.
