I am from atlanta born and raised,Yeah a southern boy. I feel im different because my style has a unquie sound. Also I bring a ton of energy to every verse and songs I record. One thing ive learned about the music is, its not who you know but who knows you. From working with people like chrisV in the studio its wild, he comes up with conceptions that will blow your mind.He really changelles my lyrical content and it helps me stay up on my game.I started rapping at age 16 on a kareoke mic, I took one step at a time. First I got my lyrics game up by writing verses everyday. After I did that, I knew i had to develop my style will has changed alot and probally will change in the future, so until then i have to stay fouced and keep up what im doing just to succesed.
Why this name?
Really blaze came up from a close friend who knew my personality.Blaze just isnt my name is represents me as a whole. Which is a huge confident booster heading into hard entertaiment such as the music industry.
Do you play live?
Well I performed at the Apache cafe in downtown atlanta,it was an experience to remeber, what better place for my first performance. We rocked the crowd and best of all Bone crusher came and showed that southern love to me and chris.I also perfermed at the havana club wish was hosted by yours truly DJ emperor searcy yes the one from 107.9s radio station.Which was the crasiest ive ever perforemd. The crowd has so much energy which touched me because it meant they understood the message im tring to get out there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The interent makes it possible to hear music from all over the world. It also makes it easier to collab with artists from all over the map.Its a small world and the interent proves that.so by a click of a mouse could change your life forever.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes,if thats what it takes to get my music heard.Id rather take the independent route which takes a harder and longer process, but worth every second.I feel the longer you wait for someone the better it is in the long run.
Your influences?
My music influences have to be outcast.Big boi and Andre just amaze me coming from Atlanta with a style so different. They changed the whole southern game.I feel my style is so different from what peoples used off hearing and thats what draws people to my music.
Favorite spot?
my favorite city has be ATL, from being here my whole life i feel there no where else i can call home. I love atlantas slang, are clothes and most of all our females. Aint nothing like a georgia peach. There is so many artists coming from here so the pressure is on which keeps me motivated.
