E.D.G., introduces to the world his unique perspective, enlightening all by virtue of his very own style of hip-hop. He raps with a fire that defines an image and swagger that is unmatched. E.D.G. has developed a distinct lyrical skill, his style recognizable by meaningful word choice, and the fluidity with which he uses such to share his past experiences.
One day E.D.G.' s life was changed forever. On this day, his father, Amnon Gerberg, was robbed leaving the jewelry store he owned. The gunman took all of his money and inventory, then shot him three times point blank, leaving him for dead on the pavement. By some miracle Amnon survived the attack, which has left him a parapalegic.

From that point forward, E.D.G. started to use his music as an outlet for all the pain and rage this incident had inflicted on him and his family. As the music began to reflect E.D.G. on a much deeper level, this was the point where music became integrated with life itself.
The tragedy served as a driving power behind his work, and continues to fuel his rare passion for the art. This hardship inspired Elon to record his first song, entitled “Pride,” an intense and powerful track in which he recounts the emotionally riveting story from start to finish.

E.D. was often the target of blame growing up in the nice suburban town of Bexley, Ohio, in Central Columbus. E.D. dealt with an experience filled with adversity and angst, which created a “Me Against the World” mentality that set the foundation for his vision and creativity which are constantly developing the wordsmith and artist he is today. Completely self taught and writing music since age 14, E.D.G. has been formulating his own style of music which he has also taught himself how to engineer, produce, and record to make his own records.

In 2002, E.D.G. linked up with three underground hip hop legends to form the DVS1s Clique. Meta4ce Omega, member of the infamous ODOT crew (lead by Copy write 78) and winner of many organized rhyme battles, (including Ohio's biggest emcee battle held annually at the Columbus Convention Center, the "Columbus Hip Hop Exposition") undoubtedly proves his skill on stage and in the street.

K' Rigga is the flavor of the DVS1's crew. With catchy hooks and crazy word play, Rigga’s lyrics have yet to meet paper ; he relies strictly on his memory to write his rhymes.

During a studio session one day at E.D.’s house, friend Bryson White stopped by to listen. Bryson wrote a verse to the beat they were using, and surprised E and Rigga with his lyrical genius; the two were completely floored by his performance. From that moment on, Bryson became “Renegade,” earning the nickname “the Uncut Diamond” for having an exclusive and rare sparkle that just needed a little shaping. He quickly became a polished vet joining E.D. and K' Rigga to form Columbus’ elite, most lyrically talented and diverse unsigned group, waiting to explode.Together the three formed what was about to explode as Columbus’ elite, most lyrically talented, and diverse unsigned group.

E.D. attended college at Bowling Green State University. There, he created a buzz that was unmatched performing at concerts and shows at frat houses and local venues all over the ohio area. E.D. not only displays his rare and extreme talent in his lyrics, but also in the studio. He engineers and produces beats that give his songs a vibe and swagger that is unique yet holds on to the feel of contemporary hip-hop. While most rappers have top of the line studios and produces like Dr. Dre producing beats and tracks, E.D.G. does this all on his own and doesn’t let this slow him down.

After a 2,000 mile move, and a couple years shining in management in Corporate America, E.D.G. had never lost site of his passion and dream. He is currently working on tracks for premire DVS1's group album and his solo album. The Miami Areahas a vast pool of talent, variety, individuality, and just an immense artistic energy to feed off of. South Florida is an exciting place to be an artist and to find your voice. E.D.G., with his personality, perserverence, and sheer talent, hopes to find his break on the South Florida music scene and make everybody listen.
