This is my semi serious solo stuff. It's mostly just musical rambles, just like sketches really. I pretty much play whatever I want, covers or otherwise, and record anything I feel worthwhile.
Why this name?
Gabriel is what a friend of mine called me for a while. The folk explosion bit is just random...
Do you play live?
Not really, I don't seek it (I'm lazy and disorganised)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Personally I listen to random unsigned people more now and have made some good friends through music websites and stuff. I also buy music on the net
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, if it was the right deal. Dunno if it's what I really want as a career though
Band History:
Um... I've played guitar since I was 15, I've pretty much always written my own stuff. I've been in bands and stuff but I'm not at the moment

Equipment used:
A Yamaha keyboard, a seagull guitar, a palm bay guitar and a marshall amp. I also have a cry baby wah wah, a variety of harmonicas and a sennheiser mic. I tend to record with a cheap pc mic and audacity or sound recorder
