This artist was born in New Orleans, LA. in Press Park Projects. Then later moved to the Lower Ninth Ward with parents and brother at the age of two. His father was married legally to two women at the same time. Though MR was born with a dad, he was raised seperately by his mother who worked sixty hours a week as a nurse while taking care of two kids without any finacial help. Grew up in some hard times, sometimes eating butter, rice, and sugar for dinner meals. At the age of seven lost his mom to a fatal accident of breast cancer. Still determine to become a king by any means necessary, worked alongside with alot of local people on the music scene. He's done shows with J-Mane from Mainstreet and Alleycats Records. Learned how to use protools and a triton keyboard by nature. He works hard daily crafting his music. He recently just moved back from ATL (Stone Mountain, GA. Eastside) while A&R with www.clickongame.com. He nows attends Minnesota School Of Business for Audio Business Management where his current grade point average is a 3.0. I hear he's working on changing that to a 4.0. Now residing in North Minneapolis, he is bringing some real heat towards the game as a newcomer to the rap game. He is also part of a rap group by the name of Wrong 1's (Lucky and Q are other members working hard on they're solo projects) and works with Zink (who has made alot of beats for the album) of the Blaze 1 Camp. He is also working with up and coming artist J. Rich the first round draft pick and he can be reached at janeahsdad@msn.com. Be on the look out for more pic's. Gerry Hubbard, a former composer and bass player for Prince, has also collaborated with him on some slow jam tracks. This hotboy is really ready for the scene. He is currently working on a deal with Trademark Entertainment. You can check out my live interview with Gary Holdsteady on his radio staion ipod cast at www.msbmusicbiz.com/podcast/pone.html
