Back by October

Although not representative of how Elusive use to sound (back in the day), "Pictures" provided the inspiration needed to snap the band back into action, and back into music in general.
Dave moving back from Seattle and Rob from Portland has given the guys an oppurtunity to buckle down and push forward.

Why this name?
The band name was originally Elusive. However, the altered line up and a Norwegian band with the same name lead the guys to consider a different name. Thus, Back by October.
Do you play live?
We are wrapping up our first CD, but we have managed to play a couple shows around town.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it gives the oppurtunity for the artist to get the music out to the people without a major label taking a large cut.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on how much control the band would be able to maintain.
Band History:
Elusive started in Albuquerque in the summer of 1996. They played one show in August, then everyone went mostly seperate ways, although they managed to maintain something of a friendship.
Almost 10 years later (most of) the band is back together to put out. Music that is, in the form of a CD.
