Why this name?
Cleveland, Ohio - Born, bred, raised and representing.
Keeping Ill Niggaz Glorified (K.I.N.G.) goes beyond rap, beyond hip hop and beyond art. K.I.N.G. is a day to day lifestyle embodied by each and every self reliant, intelligent, hustle savvy individual. If you get legal money or otherwise, as long as you're smart about it and smart WITH it, your K.I.N.G.. If you do the daily classroom grind and respect it for the opportunity that it is, your K.I.N.G.. If you carry yourself with a swagger that sheds a respectful a respectful light not only on you, but the family that raised you and the extended family who consider you a friend, your K.I.N.G.. However you maintain, as long as you maintain, your K.I.N.G.
If you're a reckless, unfocused, closed minded individual with no sense of priority or responsibility, your not K.I.N.G., your probably a broke idiot with a fat toothless spouse and a body odor that makes skunks roll the window up. Yep.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If my broke ass can put out music then it MUST be good.
The net has BECOME the industry. Labels underestimated the muscle that the internet gave us and now they're stuck lookin up at iTunes, MySpace and the like financially. In the early/mid 90's cats sell'n 20,000 units out of their trunk was something huge and now, a decade later, unsigned artists are literally going platinum out of their basement.
The catch 22 is that the success that indie artists and writers are having on the net is whats driving the major labels to put so much money into lower quality product. Other than Interscope, the big boys simply cant afford to sign and hold on to the bigger and better talent. When all they can offer is 50 to 75 cents a unit and there 5 to 7 dollars a unit to be made independently its a given that they'll cone up short.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Read the answer to the last question and figure it out.
Band History:
Been on SoundClick since '01 so I been at it at least that long.
Your influences?
Everything. Rap, rock, R&B, soul, country, whatever. If its good music its my kinda music.
Favorite spot?
Cleveland, Ohio. The BEST city on the f***in PLANET!
Anything else...?
Just know this, my music is me. Dont ever mistake my showmanship for arrogance or my depth for weakness. I'm human and that cant be limited to 16 bars and a hook. Its like a sea of mentality, you can only see so deep from the surface.
