Do you play live?
I'm currently playing with a band called Shaky Stage. 50% of what we play is original material. We're a fun rock band and the crowds seem to like us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's huge...it allows us to share our music with people all over the world and we get the chance to sample many unknown talents. I love it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not even going to worry about that. For me, that's not what it's about. I'm into making music because I like to, it's part of who I am.
Your influences?
Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, Tony Rice, John Denver, Jimmy Buffet, Nickle Creek, John Pryne etc. etc. You get the idea
Equipment used:
I have a Yahama FG-335 acoustic which I'm about to add a Fishman Natural 1 acoustic pickup to and a Fender Squire Strat 20th anniversary electric. I record directly to PC with a Sennheiser Evolution mic. I use Cakewalk's Sonar 3 Producer Edition for my recording and mixing.
