We are an Hip Hop group by the name of "RARE" located here in the Midwest. Milwaukee to be exact. Shaolin Entertainment is the label.
RARE consists of three members "MO JOE", "ELFY", and "TOMSON". This trio rocks the mic like no other MC you've ever heard. They truly possess the essence of hip hop entertainment. The name "RARE" truly describes the level of their performance, creating what we now know and love "RARE", thus starting the hip-hop revolution for the Asian community.
The leader of this rap trio "MO JOE" Joe is multi- talented. MOE JOE started as a solo performer and has since joined with two other members of his family Tomson and Elfy to create what we now know and love "RARE", thus starting the hip-hop revolution for the Asian community.
RARE has performed in Milwaukee at the RAVE/EAGLES ballroom and Asian moon festival, in Chicago on X-POZ'E T.V. show, Fresno, Ca. at the RAINBOW Ballroom, St. Paul, MN. At the Aldrich arena. RARE has opened up for many mainstream artist such as Yukmouth of the Luniz, TRAE from DJs screw screwed up click, CAP-ONE of 40 thieves, T-DAWG of Warner bro. Rec., and recently KANYE WEST of roccafella, CLIPSE of star trak, N.E.R.D.S. of the neptunes, LYRICS BORN of BlacKalicious/ CUTCHEMIST, TWISTA of Atlantic recording co., and Black Eye Peas.
What makes RARE a hot commodity are several elements? Number one would be their great attitude, consistency, dedication to their craft, they write and produce their own music, last but not least they keep it all in the family. They get along so well. They have already produced and marketed three of their albums on their own. These albums are sold in Chicago, Minnesota, California, Milwaukee, North Carolina, and so forth.
We are looking to building relationships with all community and charitable organizations, recording companies, mature model services, musicians, publications, and so forth. Our mission is to add a different blend of style in to our community. We want to keep the violence off the streets and out of our communities as well. We want to capture the attention of the younger generation thus leading to a better and cleaner world in the future. People helping people. We promise to bring a fun, peaceful, and clean atmosphere to those around us. To strengthen the community with knowledege, wisdom, and unity through music. We are targeting the mainstream industry and attacking the minds of politics to further the movement and emergence of our dreams.
