Ý am from Ýstanbul and Ý have been playing guitar for 12 years. Ý arrange and record my songs at my home studio (detailed information below).
Why this name?
My mother lost to my father in a card game. Winner choses name.
Do you play live?
Not at the moment. Ý used to play around Ýstanbul. No special moments to speak of, just generally nice times.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Ý think that it allows more people availability, access and education to music and to give people, amateurs especially, and opportunity to learn more.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course.
Band History:
No history. No band. Just me playing for 12 years and learning on the way.
Your influences?
Ý like jazz, classical, classic rock, new age, traditional and world music, all music really. No punk, death metal, techno... you get the idea. Sting, Janie Cullum, Dave Matthews, Michael Bublé, Chet Baker, Jeff Buckley, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin. Django Reinhardt, Jimi Hendrix.. too much really. My music library is in the hundreds (albums!)
Favorite spot?
For now Ýstanbul.

Guitars: Electric (Fender Stratocaster), 2 Classical and an accoustic, Boss ME10 FX Processor, Korg Midi Keyboard, Phonic Mixer, Behringer and Shure SM57 Microphones, Cubase SX, Sonar 4 AND my PC P4 1.7 512 ram. creative Audigy sound card.
