Reckless

Reckless, with whom is from Detroit, MI. of the USA, is a show stopping rapper once signed to a local label called Tuson Entertainment. He has worked in collaboration with other local artists from Detroit and surrounding areas and was interviewed by vibe until the fans rushed their bus. He even won freestyle battles on FM98 by rapping over the phone while traveling or at work, etc. More recently, he attended the Vibe Music Fest, on 11Jun05, and, at the spur of the moment, entered the Free Agent Contest that he had just learned of. Although he fell short of victory in the last round, he brought an insurpassible amount of energy, charisma, and powerful delivery that had everyone astonished and in applause.

Reckless was passionate about music, poetry, photography, and art from an early age. He attended and perfomed at local clubs bars and cafes and blew the show up at every one of them, figuratively speaking, of course. He fell in love with hip-hop at the age of 10 and soon started writing lyrics and rapping, inspired by what he heard, saw, and experienced. Influenced by 2pac and other positive people, he nurtured his talent and wrote lyrics about the trials in the urban romance and madness of everyday life.

His writing style has gradually evolved into something that is indeed his own. His lyrics, which are meaningful, personal, witty and even sarcastic at times, turn urban tales into original expression. He easily blends hip-hop lyricism with poeticism that displays both strength and vulnerability, giving any artist a run for their money. It was once said that the truth is the hardest thing to believe. But I say check it out for yourself. You'll fall in love with him.
Do you play live?
Of course! I love performin poetry and rap at music and spoken word shows. My favorite moments are when I blew up my 1st show in Detroit at Club Necessary and when me and the rest of the Foundation became local celebrities in Florida's panhandle.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
