In her short years in the Gospel ministry/industry, Janée has already blessed the hearts of many. Her presence is well felt among the masses as she proceeds to spread a positive vibe everywhere she goes.
Besides her notable ability to send a message through melodic waves of harmony she can also dance and act. She has had the opportunity to work in feature films allowing her to meet with many talented artists over the past few years: Dave Hollister, N’Sync, Destiny’s Child, Winans Phase 2, Jon B, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Method Man. Meeting these people gave her a good idea what she needed and what it was going to take to get on that road to stardom. With a burning desire in her heart to sing praises and spread a positive message she is well on her way.
From her mixture of intriguing harmony to the blend of genres spawning from urban soul to contemporary jazz, this young lady has more than enough to bring to the table.

Do you play live?
Yes, I love singing live. Actually, its more rewarding than in a studio. I don't really have a special moment that I could single out, all moments and opportunities that i get to sing live are special ones.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has been a good and bad change in the music industry. Artists who put their hard work into their passion aren't reaping the full benefits these days because of downloading, but at the same time, the internet has been a great source for seeing and hearing what's out there at the touch of a button. I think mp3 is wonderful, there are so many talented people in the world that are finally getting an opportunity to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign with a major label after much research, and the proper people looking out for my best interest. That's a big thing to get involved with and every decision has benefits and sacrifices. I think its up to the artist what sacrifices and changes they are willing to deal with and then base their decision off those things.
Your influences?
I listen to all kinds of music for all different things. I really don't have a specific artist or group that I could say is a direct influence, however, I am told that I remind people of Aalyiah, Ashanti, Mariah, Out of Eden and Vivian Greene, whether it be in voice, lyric, or style etc.
Favorite spot?
My favourite spot on earth is anywhere where the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, there is laughter and its peaceful and I have friends and family to share it all with.
Anything else...?
I guess if there is anything I would like to say to my listeners it would be, follow your dreams. The worst thing you could do is follow someone else's dream. Don't let anyone or anything discourage you from your dreams, but at the same time, use wisdom in your choices, and the only way to gain wisdom is through God.
Be blessed!!!
