70x7 reaches out to the world with contemporary music that witnesses to the glory of God.
Why this name?
The name 70x7 is synonymous with God's eternal forgiveness. Matthew 18:21-22 in the new King James version of the Bible reads: Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."
Jesus isn't telling us to forgive our brothers 490 times, or 70 times, or 77 times. He's telling us we should always forgive our brothers when they have sinned against us. God in heaven has forgiven us all of humanity's sins. How wrong it would be for us to deny our brothers and sisters a similar forgiveness for much lesser matters.

Do you play live?
70x7 performs a repertoire that includes over 50 original songs and 150 popular praise and worship songs. Keyboardist and songwriter B.J. Collins is backed by gifted musicians like Bo Collins, Zac Reitmeyer, Chuck Beatty, Ian Hazelwood, Al Mosovsky, and Ed Friedenberger. 70x7's live performances are powered by the Word of God in scriptures adapted to contemporary music, plus the passionate and heart-felt preaching of evangelist Peter Kusko. Over the years, 70x7 has served a variety of audiences, including an opening night worship concert at the 2000 Creation Festival... In both the concert and worship settings, 70x7 has partnered with many churches and organizations, including the United Methodist Church, Roman Catholic Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, Presbyterian Church of America, Presbyterian Church USA, Assemblies of God, American Baptist Churches USA, Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Pentecostal Church of God, and Independent Christian Churches.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
70x7 began publishing RealAudio and MP3 recordings on the 70x7.com website in 1997 and the band’s songs have been enjoyed by thousands of online listeners all over the world. There have already been over three million streams and downloads of 70x7's music from online music websites like Mp3.com, Soundclick.com, MySpace.com, ArtistLaunch.com, Amazon.com, and Mp3.com.au (Australia)... The opportunity to share the Word of God contained in our songs on a worldwide basis through the internet has made this a very exciting time, and has greatly enhanced the effectiveness and reach of our music ministry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
70x7 will remain faithful in its mission to deliver the Word of God through our music, and should the opportunity arise to partner with a person or organization that shares our vision and can broaden our reach, we will welcome it.
Your influences?
70x7 has sought to become "all things to all men" just as the apostle Paul had done. This is reflected in the broad spectrum of musical genres covered by the band, with the intention to reach as many different people as possible.
