SoundClick artist: Tidal Noise - Post Nirvana Hendrix revisionist alternative rock with a taste of blues.

Tidal Noise was influenced by Alternative/Grunge bands such as Nirvana and the Smashing pumpkins, but also by Jimi Hendrix, which also makes for some blues elements.

Why this name?

There are quite some sudden dynamic changes in the songs, kind of like the tides.

Band History:

Tidal Noise started in 2000 with Maarten on Drums and Vincent on Guitar/vocals/bass. In 2001 we recorded an album on a 16 track in a tiny studio in Holland over the course of three days of recording .

Your influences?

Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles are the all time favourite influences you may recognise.

Favorite spot?

France, New York, the beach, and there's no place like home...
