OK we are Inspiration based at New Testiment Church of God Harvest Temple in Wolverhampton England. We were formed in 03. We consist of 2 peeps Anointed Beat Preacher (Anointed or A.B.P)andThe Aquited. We aim to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that the church will accept and the streets will understand.
Why this name?
We went throught loads of names at first even ones like Biblical word crew lol. But someone said Inspiration n we were lyk ye thats it. Thats what he is to us and we are to the world. When sumtin jus shines out lyk that it couldn't be anything else
Do you play live?
We started off in church doing the occasional youthdays etc but now we have spread to venues around the midlands and moving to around theon the 19th of July 2005 we became the first rappers to perform in the house of commons.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
erm i think its very good for independant labels who dont really have the funds for mass distribution as they can spred there music worldwide from home.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
we plan on starting our own really but whatever God leads us 2 i guess.
Your influences?
Cross Movement records are a big influence and a lil closer to home Fruits.
