solitude is a "one man band" from Dallas/Ft.Worth area of Texas. I do everything myself. I play all the instruments, record everything in my garage on my computer and take care of all the graphic needs.
Why this name?
I choose solitude because it reflects the true meaning of a one man band. I take care of ALL aspects of the band and there could not be a better name. It's sort of a concept but I didn't want to get too corny with it.
Do you play live?
You can't play live when there is only one person in the band. Unless of course I wanted to pull a Milli Vanilli and lip synch everything.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It will (hopefully) cut out the greedy middlemen within all major record companies and give the promotional power to the bands.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Being a one man band takes fours times as much work as a normal band. I am just getting started on this project so I ask for patience of those who are interested. I really believe things are going to get really good in a short while.
