Although Little Black Book is a brand new band out of Michigan all of the members have had their share of being in serious bands: Jeff(guitar/vox), Richard(Drums), and Charles(Singer) were in a band called Franzel together. John(bass/vox) was in a punk band called Forgotten December. Barry(lead guitar/vox) was in a band called Entity. Forming in Late 2005, Chasing Tuesday has wanted one thing: To relate to their listeners. As they go in to record their first EP, This EP will feature just a small taste of what the band has to offer. Beginning with the topic of breaking up, and ending up with a broken heart. The band hopes to one day dig a little deeper and set a whole new standard for themselves. Since they started to write tons of originals they have been trying to hop on every show they can get on. They're steadily building a fan base triggered by their moderately heavy guitar riffs to melodic lead and backing vocals. The band is currently unsigned but hopes to one day be signed.
Why this name?
Because our first ep which is titled Blessed By A Broken Heart, relates to the fact that a mans little black book is his heart ache and his "booty calls", it really is his broken heart
Do you play live?
we have not played any shows yet we are a brand new band and are getting ready to hit the stage.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it gets so many bands heard, and so many bands that labels would not give a second thought on most levels can see a band popularity thanks to sites like purevolume and myspace.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
heck yes, we would really like to start making a career out this music
