Hi. My name is martyn, I am sixteen years of age and I have been playing guitar for about 3 years self taught. These tracks are just a couple of songs I made and recorded using a some free software and a sh***y mic. I hope you like 'em. and I would like comments on the music...
Why this name?
well... my second name is lopez and I am currently playing a Epiphone Les Paul custom.... just call me martyn though... lol
Do you play live?
I have not played Live
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its great for exposure and just to get your music out there. people can comment on your music and you can actually listen and improve.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably
Band History:
well I started playin guitar 2 or 3 years ago and taught myself by reading tabs, listning and figuring out little tunes and riffs. then started improvising and have made and recorded a few songs for u folks!!!
Your influences?
I love Joe satriani, steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie ray Vaughan... and so on theres too many to name. I also listen to hip hop and other styles.
Equipment used:
I use an Epiphone les paul custom (white with stock P/U's)
Ovation Tangent T 257 (Black Mid depth)
and a Marshall AVT 100 amplifier.

I record with Mixcraft software and a PC mic that I bought from Game ( the video game shop )

( just recently bought a didgitech DF7 distortion factory )
