Ice Stevens is the antimatter counterpart of Vanilla Shadoe. Were they ever to meet, they would annihilate in a burst of gamma rays.

Actually, after being on Soundclick for almost two years, I had my first #1 on the talk charts. So I've set up this page to distribute my written (and spoken) word.
Why this name?
I combined the names of Vanilla Ice and Shadoe Stevens. Vanilla Shadoe was already taken ;)

Also, Cat Stevens wasn't using his name anymore (having converted to Islam), so Cat Power took the "Cat," and I took the "Stevens."
Do you play live?
Only at Creative Ink at William Penn University.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I became addicted to podcasts with iTunes 4.9. I'll have to start my own podcast someday.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Would they still offer?
Band History:
I started writing fiction in third grade. I have experimented with some poetry. I published a literary magazine from 1990 to 1999. I started a novel in 1993, but don't know when I'll finish. I also hold BA's in English and Communications/Journalism.
Your influences?
As a young kid, I was a fan of juvenile/young adult mysteries such as Encyclopedia Brown, T*A*C*K, the Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew. After seeing "The Hobbit" cartoon on HBO, I became a fan of SF/Fantasy.

However, I find it easier to write general fiction.
Favorite spot?
Sector 001.
Equipment used:
Mac, mike, paper, pencil, ink, imagination.
Anything else...?
Definitely. Here's a Press Release.
