Why this name?
J.L. McDaniel - Jennifer L. McDaniel, in the style of most classical composers.
Do you play live?
I played many concerts/recitals, but not my own music, from famous composers. My favorites are Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn and Chopin. I don't try to use their style or influence, I am trying to develop my own style, but for my public performances, they are my favorite to play.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Some people choose to download free copies of famous artists work illegally. I think it is wrong that people do that because it is stealing. That is a negative way that mp3s have changed the music industry. However, for people like me that just want some feedback on music, mp3s are great!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not looking for a record label. I don't want to be famous or anything, I just want some feedback on my music, and to have my name out there.
Band History:
No history....I am a new composer.
Your influences?
As said before, I enjoy playing the music of others, but I in no way copy, or are influenced by their style.
Favorite spot?
Flagler Beach where I live is nice, Palm Beach, where I was born, is awesome! I would love to see London someday, and I think it would be cool to live there.
