I'm into a variation of different music genres, like the blues, jazz, classic rock, and I've just begun getting into classical music.
Why this name?
The D stands for Dave(my 1st name) The cody was my fathers name, and Smith is my last name, so I just came up with D. CODY SMITH.
Do you play live?
Yes, I do, but I haven't had a whole band to play with, so not as of late.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Online music opens people up to all sorts of talent, styles, and genres, the internet is an excellent tool for musicians.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if I felt comfortable with them and found them to be trustworthy.
Band History:
I started playing back in 1957, I was in a few bands, we mostly played in bars and clubs across the united states, I mixed driving the big rigs with music, and like I said, I do some blues, jazz, rock, and lately alot of classical.
