I have played in a couple of bands over the years and had moderate success with the Hard Rock outfit "JUDGE MENTAL" over a 5 or 6 year period in Perth Western Australia playing and writing original tunes. However these days I spend most of my time recording in a home studio I have set up.
Your influences?
I love the early heavy bands eg Judas Priest, Dio, The Scorpions, Ozzy etc. I also love the guitar playing of Gary Moore, Ace Frehley, Zakk Wylde and Joe Satriani!
Equipment used:
I use Gibson Les Paul Customs, Ibanez and Fender Stratocaster guitars, Jackson Bass guitars, Laney amplification with Laney and Marshall quad boxes.
Recording gear, Boss 1600CDR 16 track digital work station, Yamaha MD4, Mackie 1402VLZ mixer, Roland DS5 nearfield monitors and Boss ME-5 guitar effects, plus various other effects eg Dunlop Wah Wah, Boss Harmonizer, Digitech expression pedal.
