Why this name?
I made it up.
Do you play live?
I've played once live. It was the 150 year celebration for my hometown, and I played at church with my pastor. I played "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov and "Midnight" by Joe Satriani. Although it was my only live solo performance ever, it was in front of about 500-700 people, and I got a standing ovation from all of them. WOW! It was an amazing night.

Obviously, neither one of those songs are originals. It would be very hard for me to perform any of my songs live, as there is usually a large amount of layering in them.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's amazing how many good bands you can find online that arn't signed and no one has heard of. Sometime it's nice to get rid of all the "made for public" sounding songs and see what the creativity of non-signed artists sounds like.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Most likely. The only reason I wouldn't is if for some reason my songs spread like wildfire on the internet and I get a large following without a record company's help. Doubtful.
Band History:
I started playing guitar a little over 6 years ago by teaching myself Metallica tabs. After awhile I started getting into Megadeth, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and progressive metal. I started writing after I had a few years of guitar under my belt, my first song being "Angels and Demons". I later got really into progressive metal and technical music, and try to incorporate that in to my music to the best of my technical abilities.
Your influences?
Dream Theater, Opeth, Symphony X, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai.
Favorite spot?
My room. I hope to one day have a really nice home studio. Then that will be my favorite room.

Jackson DKMG Dinky, Marshall Valvestate 80V, DigiTech RP300A, Planet Waves Cables, Cakewalk Home Studio
