Born Ready is 'The Next Best Thing' that's happening
in the music industry.
Why this name?
Our group name was one that we felt expressed
the true meaning of our readiness to musically
and vocally please the ears of our listeners.
Our parents love to sing, and our mom was constantly singing to us while in her womb,
so that when we were born, we were "Born Ready".
Do you play live?
Yes, we're always doing live performances. We performed in different cities throughout North Carolina and we enjoy watching our fans getting excited screaming over us. A few of our special moments were meeting Nicole Ray and taking pictures with her. Opening and performing at half time at a
Semi-Professional Football game at the Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC and most of all opening
for Marcus Houston, while featuring his new album -
'Naked'.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has help independent artists, such as
ourselves, promote their music and let the whole world know that we, as independant artists exist!
On the other hand, the Internet can hurt an artist's revenue because of illegal file sharing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all depends on the offer. If we see that we're
doing just fine without them, then maybe not. But
preferably, we believe in being independant.
