MUSIC IS NOW AVAILABLE ON CD BABY TO PURCHASE!!!!!!!
My name is John Paul Immordino (pronounced Im-mor-dee-no). I was born in Trenton New Jersey on June 18, 1977. I grew up and currently reside in Hamilton Square, N.J. My father was a drummer and my brother repairs trumpets and use to play also. I took clarinet lessons when I was younger, I haven't played it in years but I still have it. I got my first keyboard for Christmas when I was like 12. It was a Yamaha Portasound and I still have it, it's in the garage now. I started experimenting with trying to make songs when I was like 14.
I work for a program that deals with people with different types of disabilities. I also do barbering on the side and make some extra money with that.
I joined Soundclick in January 2006. I am happy and satisfied with soundclick and I currently have 10 cds, they are.............
1. Rocket Adventure To Jupiter (2001)
2. If It Means That Much (2002)
3. A World Within A World (2002)
4. Magic Feeling (2003)
5. Never Can Get Enough (2003)
6. Liquid Sunshine (2004)
7. Pain Is Not My Priority (2004)
8. Super Synthfever Syndrome (2007)
9. A Piece Of The City (2007)
10. The Stereo & The Television (2007)
One of the best things about Soundclick is you can be who you are originally and let the world hear you-free of anyone changing everything about you to make you fit into the pop world of all the modern day big shots.
I love synthesizers and everything about them. I think every artist or band at some point should experiment using synths. You won't reveal the end results unless you try. If Thomas Edison didn't try and kept telling himself
"Ahhhh, it won't work -- why should I waste my time trying" tell me this, where would technology be today? I'm sure it wouldn't be anywhere as advanced as it is.
I am diverse and diversity should be accepted. If we were all the same, life would be boring. If we were all born with a ball in our hand and every one of us wanted to be a sports star, there would be no houses built, no mechanics to work on your car, no police officers to protect society, no firemen to save lives, no doctors, dentists, pharmacists, etc.
Be diverse, be creative!!!
Do you play live?
I'm mainly a studio musician.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
With Soundclick, musicians from all over have the opportunity to get their material heard by so many!!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Remember the major labels and producers will defiantly change something about you.........your name, what you sing about, they might reject songs for the final cut, reject your image, your cover, the sounds you use in your songs or even your band name if they don't like it.......it's just not fair, at least for the most part.
Favorite spot?
Home.
Equipment used:
Yamaha, Moog, Arp, Roland, Korg and Sequential Circuits keyboards.
Anything else...?
If you want music that is fun, funny, has true-life lyrics, is weird but down-to-earth with instrument leads, a bit funky, a bit naughty, a bit religious, very colorful, very juicy, synthy and catchy and simply delicious to the ear!!!-----then you have come to the right place!!!!
