After much prayer and discussion, we came up with several names and put them down on a list. Then we proceeded to go through the list until we narrowed it down to only one. Heavily Armored comes from the Holy Bible, Ephesians 6:11, and refers to the armor of God.

We love to play live. That's where the work becomes fun.

The Internet has given musicians and bands an extremely useful resource for exposing their music to a very broad audience. No longer does someone or some band have to spend hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars on a CD and then work tremendously hard just to get people outside of a 10 mile radius to hear their stuff. Musicians can sit at home, record music direct into a computer, and broadcast it all over the world for only a few bucks. That's pretty awesome!

Yes, but we wouldn't dive head first into anything without thinking it through, praying over it, and discussing it in detail with everyone involved with the management and operation of the band. A record deal would have to be what's best for the band and our ministry and wouldn't be simply about money,although that would probably be a fringe benefit of signing and it would be very nice to be able to actually afford these outragous gas prices.

Jeff and K Man come from hardcore/heavy alternative musical backgrounds. Jim come from more of a metal background. Josh and Michael have both actually played in southern gospel bands but are more alternative oriented. Mix it all together and what do you get? Well, I don't know exactly but it seems to be catching on.
