I grew up (ha! That's a good one!) in Haworth, NJ then sent to private school in Cheshire, CT before entering Syracuse University. Traveled extensivly across the U.S. reaching various points on the West coast many times before settling in S.F. After finishing my degree at Syracuse there was a stint in Stockbridge, MA and then back to NJ where I reside today.
Why this name?
Just Because.
Do you play live?
I'm looking to form a collective of sorts - Contact me about getting together.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, why not - I could use the money.
Band History:
I started playing guitar back just before entering High School locally in NJ. I didn't excel at it and my brother borrowed my guitar one day while I was doing my homework. It was a cheap folk / classical guitar. My mother found him playin' the guitar, and in a fit of rage, did her own rendition of a classic Pete Townsend windmill and smashed the guitar into smitherines. She felt guilty enough though to take me to purchase another guitar, cheap as it was, bless her.
Your influences?
While I was raised on the pop / classic rock of the radio when younger, I went on to become envolved in following the Grateful Dead and other Jam Bands, I now have an affinity towards acoustic music - Folk / Blues / Jazz and most recently Bluegrass.
Favorite spot?
Oh, there are so many. San Francisco, St. Louis, and of course New York City, but I really hold dear the times I've spent in the Heartland of NY; Syracuse and other North Country Towns.
Equipment used:
I am in the habit now of using my HD28LSV, however when out and about I may bring only a D28. I also have inheirted a Yamaha Clavinova and can pass for a beginning player.
Anything else...?
