Revolution is a five piece band from Southport in Merseyside. They offer a refreshing new sound that people are waiting to hear. Their sound is a mix between The Stones, The Who, Kiss, AC/DC... and your only half way there. They have excellent stage presence and their songs are something to be heard, catch them if you can when they are next in your town..........................
Why this name?
One of our first songs was called revolution man and the name came from that
Do you play live?
we play live in Southpiort at the fubar, the coronet, the underground and also in Liverpool at the zanzibar, the cavern, the picket, the magnet, the barfly and loads of other venues, it is the best feeling in the world when you get on stage, one of best moments was when we played to 350 people in Havana nightclub in Southport
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet helps unsigned bands get a foot on the ladder and lets them get there music around the world without having the greedy record companies trying to make money off every bit of unclaimed music
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would be more likely to put our own CD out and await a P & D deal.
Band History:
The band has been going in various forms since 1997; it has had many members but is now very much at it strongest. The only original member left since the beginning is Liam Sheils lead vocal/ryhthm guitar and band founder, it is a great band to be in and has a sound ready to take the world by storm........................
Your influences?
our influences are acdc, kiss the rolling stones, the who, oasis, the kinks, the quo and many more- our sound is quite guitar based but lively and upbeat

Equipment used:
we use mainly marshall amps and gibson guitars, les paul standards and SG's.
