darklife reflects what i see around me within my city from the way that people live

it allows artists who would otherwise remain underground to share their music... it also alows people to start careers.

It depends... as a artist no but as a songwriter or a gfx artist for album cover yes. i believe in performing music for the love of music not to generate a revenue from it

started out at the age of 15 writing garage lyrics wit a close friend wasnt anything serious but the more criticism i got from people the more i elevated in skills.. i slowly converted to hiphop due to liking the complexity of it and i tried a few "textcee" sites but it wasnt the thing for me although i did take note of the way their raps were worded... using metaphors, similies and rhyming verses with more sylables and basically i progressed to what you see now

this list could go on forever so instead i'll use the main ones. HIPHOP & RnB in general

Run DMC - Raising hell (used to dance to it as a kid)... and also tupac in general was my first influence into us hip hop.. as for homegrown... artists such as jehst, klashnekoff and Dizzee Rascal
