Comprised of a single musician working in the studio for hours on end to create sonic imperfections that are sometime mistaken for music.
Why this name?
It is French for Motor City.
Do you play live?
I have played live at many clubs as bass player for many bands over the past 30 years. I will sit in with bands if they need me live or in the studio as I am an ear musician. Once I was playing a metal show at a club and the homemade pyrotechnics started the lead singers hair on fire, we used cheap beer to put it out.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet opens the door for the lower budget musicians to get their songs heard by a lot of people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Your influences?
Todd Rundgren, John Paul Jones, Dale Fox, Stanley Clarke, Geddy Lee, John Entwhistle.
Favorite spot?
The Motor City or Traverse City Michigan
