prophet69 is somewhat of a mystery to me. First, the numbers, when put together '69' represents, the swirl, the cycle, the milky way, cycles in nature, repetitivity, history repeating. It's a universal symbol in many ways representing opposing opposites that make things happen.
I could go deeper into the reason for using the number in my artist name, but i'm tired right now.

Obviously, it allows artists alot more freedom to do things around their own parameters, you can be your own distributor, record label, and management. People as always have been scared of the change in things, but i think it's good because it's one more fear overcome. The technology is great, but it isn't to be taken for granted, because then it becomes just another thing.

Prophet69 wants to entertain and inform the masses of the inevitable doom we are creating through satirical, punk-metal-fused nostalgic rock, in radio-friendly songs like “I don’t believe.” "Information Overload" etc. in the spirit of Marilyn manson and Elvis, and to remind america how trapped it has set itself up to be, and posing the question.
