Good golly it's almost been a year since the last update. That's crazy. Well I have much to discuss so let's jump right into it. Yes, we're still alive and breathing and we've difinitly not giving up on our music. In fact, we completly overhauled erverything that is Something Clutch. So much so that we now have a new name: Stained Ego. That's right, Something Clutch is no longer. We wanted a name that was more serious instead of silly because we have matured a lot in our music. We still have some silliness, don't get me wrong, but our music is more balanced.
We've overhauled the website. It's totally different. Where are the floating heads and the stars. If you want to look at the old website just for old times sakes, you can view it here:
Onto the other crap. Now I am going to give you a complete update of SE. What's going on, what we're doing, etc...
* I'm engaged! I'm getting married on July 22nd of next year. Yay!!!
* I graduated college and have a full-time job
* I got laser eye surgery
* Here is the final list of all the songs we made for this album, including the ones we will be cutting. We ended up making 18 songs for this album and now we are cutting 4. That gives us a total of 14 songs.

* The last 3 songs that we made for this album are some of the best we've ever made and will really add to the lineup of songs. The Party Song is self explanatary, Switchblade is crazy and Crossed the Line is a Ballad of some sort.
* Recording is going great! we only have a few more touch ups to do then all we have to do is finish the mixing. The mixing is about half done.
That's it! This was a nice and long update because I had a lot to say since last year. We here at Stained Ego wish everyone the best and have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

What is up fellas and chicas? We are Stained Ego formerly known as Something Clutch. We just recently changed our name that we had for 4 years because we discovered that LT failed to tell us that he hated the name. So alas, we formed the name Stained Ego. We are a music group (if you haven't figured that out yet) and have a rap-rock style sort of like Linkin' Park, but not really. We can be a bit goofy at times and serious at other times. SE consists of Big Nasty, L Twice, Danatic and BZ.
Why this name?
As stated earlier, we were originally called Something Clutch, however, L Twice long hated the name and it was time to change it. So, we made a list of about 20 different band names that we liked the best. We got many opinions and through a long process finally produced, Stained Ego.
Do you play live?
Not yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has changed the music industry ten fold. Sure the big bands don't appriciate it, but for small and upcoming bands it is great. You can create a following like no other with just advertising your stuff on the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We are totally interested in signing with a major label.
Band History:
We've been
Big Nasty - He currently working for a public relations firm in Encino Ca after just recently graduating from DeVry University. He also works as a Karate instructor. He is one of two lead singers of the group along with LT. He has grown up with music from performing in numerous musicals to singing in choirs. He also writes pretty much half of the lyrics. He is 21 years old.
L Twice - He has always had a passion for music. He mainly focuses on rapping, but he is also a creative lyrical genius. He loves to battle and is the reigning champion in Something Clutch. He is 24 years old.
Danatic - He is the music guy of Stained Ego. He has grown up playing piano, and is absolutely amazing at it. He has taught himself how to play guitar, and he is improving all the time with the music program called FL Studio. He creates all of our beats, and occasionally will do some backing vocals. He is 20 years old.
BZ - He is a music lover. He has a great ear for how our songs should sound, and always speaks his mind when he doesn't like something. His main role in Stained Ego is the video guy, but he is also does backing vocals. He is going to Cal State University in Northridge to obtain a degree in film. He is 21 years old.
